Brad Barton is a North Texas–based artist whose work explores imagination, identity, and the stories we tell ourselves about creativity. Working across photography, digital art, writing, and games, Brad creates images and experiences that are sometimes fantastical, sometimes surreal, and always rooted in emotional truth.
As a Creative Mythologist, Brad helps people reclaim their creative voice—whether through visual art, storytelling, or teaching—by examining the myths we inherit about talent, success, and what it means to be an artist. His work blends narrative, symbolism, and craft to invite curiosity, wonder, and deeper connection.
Brad is the author of three books, including Retro Glamour & Pinup Photography, and has created award-winning work featured in nationally distributed publications and feature-length motion pictures. As a speaker and educator, he teaches creatives to move beyond technique and into meaningful, sustainable artistic practice.
