Photographers are notorious for not wanting their picture done and I am no exception. But in order to better understand my own clients’ fears in front of the camera, I decided I needed to face them myself.
So in January of 2014, I started a project to do a new self portrait every month for the year. By the end of that year, clients and friends were telling me how they looked forward to seeing the new image each month and several begged me to continue.
At the start of 2017, I was looking toward my 50th birthday and feeling the pressure of Time – so the images from that year were all Time related.
