Michelle competed this weekend in the Miss Texas Pageant and finished the race as Second Runner Up. While we all wished should could have been the next Miss Texas, we’re still happy for her accomplishments and ranking. She’s still Miss Arlington to us.

Erin spent the recent school year on the Birdville High School Varsity Golf team – as a freshman – and did better than many of her older teammates. We did this photo session at sunset at Iron Horse Golf Course in Hurst to celebrate her jacket.
One of the things I love most to photograph is cosplay. They are always so wonderfully elaborate and the people have such fun getting into character. We recently had Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon in my Grand Prairie studio.

Continuing the celebration of my daughter’s 18th birthday… She models for her mother’s knitting business, KnittingFairy, such as she did here for a pattern designed for Knitting Rose. She’s also a great knitter herself and sometimes teaches basic knitting in the shop.
