Piper is the daughter of my dear friend Lar. A few years ago, she was crowned Miss Texas (Junior Teen) in the National American Miss pageant. This was done a few months after… and after she’d broken her foot stepping off a stair in a school production. As Piper said then, “When they tell you break a leg, don’t take it literally.”

Great capture. I love the simplicity of the white background. She’s beautiful and the expression on her face with the cast on her leg is perfect. The lighting of course is lovely as is the shade of “blue” you captured in her dress.
