I’ve been photographing Allegra for about 4 1/2 years now… and I must say, she is growing into quite a lovely young lady. Several years of dance have given her poise… and she’s always had a presence on camera… at 14, I think she’s going places.
And, as a frame of reference… from my first session with her at 10…

Jacob is a young actor out of Fort Worth. He’s a senior this year and planning to head for Oklahoma for theater. He certainly has the “smoulder” look down.
2010 Review

My favorite image of the year will probably come as no surprise to anyone who has been following the last couple months. It was captured on one of my photography walk-throughs at Texas Scaregrounds this season. This is going to be one of the pieces I take to my first PPA competition this year… so we’ll see how that goes. I’m ever hopeful, of course.

Every year I try to go through my archives from the year and pick out my favorite images from that year. Like most years, I have a hard time picking just one favorite, so I end up having to narrow them down. I’m going to start sharing those today and add another each day until the end of the year. Hopefully by narrowing them down aloud, I’ll be able to pick my favorite.
Mindy came in earlier this year and there is just something so compelling about her eyes that I had to include her in the end of year review…
