One of the lighting setups we were experimenting with down in Brownwood was a Hollywood Glamour light… this is Jordan again.

I’ve been thinking of doing a 2008 calendar… what do you think of Miss May?

I’m shooting this couple’s wedding in September, but here is one from a recent session with them to celebrate their engagement…

Heather’s studio in Brownwood is such a great place for shooting.. lots of imaginative ideas all around, including ways to use walls for screening light… and with the lovely Erin as one of our models…..

Shooting at my friend Heather’s studio this weekend.. had some opportunity (and space) to do some playing with light that I don’t get to do in my own…

One of the ways to train myself to notice details is to make myself look at portraits in a new way.. especially noticing interesting shoes.

I posted another shot of Angela earlier this week.. finished her edits yesterday. She came in for a little bit of dark glamour to use to promote her Internet radio persona.

And happy birthday to my son, Alex.
Someone on the photo forum the other day posed a question to all about our individual favorite aspect of photography.. was it setting up the shot, making the shot, sharing the images with others, and so on… I thought about it a little and decided that for me, its finding the shot. That moment when you see something interesting that you didn’t see before.. the part that has more to do with seeing in a new way than anything else… here is a shot from the basic photo class field trip that fits.

I’ve seen this wagon dozens of times in my visits to the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.. but this was the first time I noticed the details of this wheel…
One of my favorite models, Erin, came in this week with this idea for a shoot she wanted to do… of course, I had to oblige.

Lani is a model I’ve worked with several times in the past… she’s 7 months along with her pregnancy now and wanted to do a maternity session.
