Reilly and Reagan | Dallas/Fort Worth Childrens Portraits

I’ve been doing portraits of these two sisters for a couple of years now.. its been fun to watch them grow up… and they are a lot of fun, too. They started coming in for acting headshots originally, but they still come in even though they aren’t doing it any more.

And one where I told them to just be silly….

Meagan and Black Eyed Susans

I found this field of Black Eyed Susans the other day and just had to go back with my daughter later that afternoon… next time, I need to remember the stepstool. LOL

Edit… decided to enter this one in this week’s I Faces

Fill and Fuel: Back Roads, Texas

Found this little gem by the side of a road I travel all the time… don’t know why I never noticed it before.

Air Hogs Baseball

Some of my friends and followers know that I also have a gig as the official photographer for the Grand Prairie Air Hogs, a local minor league team in the American Association. (For those local here, that is the same league as the Fort Worth Cats.) They are an independent baseball league, not affiliated with Major League Baseball, although our players are picked up by various farm teams from time to time.

This was shot this afternoon at a game… infielder David Espinosa leading off the bottom of the fifth with a double to left field. He would come around to score on a home run by the next batter.

Come out and see the Hogs play sometime!

Women of Scarborough Faire – Mother’s Day 2010

My post from last Mother’s Day visit to Scarborough Faire was so popular (including with the women in the photos), I made a point to seek them out again this year when we went out there. Twig was so excited to meet me, she made a big heart with her hands at me… and I had long conversations with Rhianna the Troll and Merrily the Courtesan as well. I didn’t get a chance to talk to Dreamy, she was busy working with Noobler.. so no new picture of her this year, but I noticed she’s featured on the front cover of the program for Faire this year.

So anyway, here are the new pictures of these lovely ladies this year…

Elizabeth High School Senior – Back From Texas School

Well, I’m back from my week long stint at Texas School. I was working as a wrangler (assistant) for an amazing photographer out of the U.K. named Martin Grahame-Dunn. It was an exhausting week and my duties as wrangler made it difficult to get much shooting for myself in, but it certainly was a great, great week. My class was amazing.. great group of talented people.. and none of us particularly wanted it to end, even though we were all barely standing.

This was one of the few frames I captured out there.. Elizabeth isn’t really a high school senior – she’s not even a freshman yet – but I set out to photographer and process the image in that style.
